If You Already Have a Water Softener System Installed


If you already have a water softener, a water filtration system, or a reverse osmosis system installed, that’s a different situation entirely. The symptoms change.


Your reverse osmosis might be slowing down, or it might be tasting different. Your water doesn’t feel soft anymore—or sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. You might be going back and forth from soft water to hard water. The softener may not be using salt. The system might be stuck in a backwash cycle with water going down the drain all the time.


There are many problems you can have with these systems that should never have been installed in the first place. These problems aren’t caused by the water—they’re caused by the equipment. And that changes how I can help you.

Repair or Replace?  I Will Give You Both Options

Repairing your current system may involve a resin change—usually noticeable by low water pressure or by the fact that you’re going back and forth from soft water to hard water and can’t recognize soft water anymore. The Truth About What Really Matters Inside a Water System



Water softeners, water filters, and whole-house purification systems, can all look the same from the outside. Some even look impressive. But the outside doesn’t tell you anything. What really matters — what truly makes the difference — is what’s inside the tank and how the medias are arranged,  because that determines whether your system lasts 20 years or needs a major overhaul in three to five.


  • Are the medias mixed together?   
  • Are they separated correctly?
  • Is the right media even being used?
    Are there enough pounds of it?
  • Are they placed in the right order so each one can do its job?
